3 steps to greater job satisfaction
Only around one in two employees is satisfied with their job.* But what can be done about dissatisfaction, does it have to be dismissal? – “No,” says Lucyna Reich with a smile. “The good news is that anyone can do something about it. I go through the following three steps with my coachees, which are also ideal for self-reflection.” These are as follows:
- 1. check which factors specifically trigger your dissatisfaction!
- 2. think about which factor needs which change!
- 3. be self-effective and take steps towards change!
“It’s best to write down the answers in a quiet minute and tackle one change at a time. The most important thing is to take the first step,” advises Lucyna Reich.
By the way: Many companies support the further development of their employees and managers through coaching – it is often worth talking to the HR department about this.
