From January 1, 2025, e-invoicing will gradually become mandatory for companies in Germany. The Growth Opportunities Act was confirmed by the Bundestag and Bundesrat in March, so it is now official: ZUGFeRD or XRechnung will become mandatory for invoicing (and receipt) in the B2B sector.
With the Growth Opportunities Act the German government wants to stimulate economic growth in Germany and support companies in a variety of ways, including by reducing bureaucracy. One of the measures is the standardization of the domestic accounting system to e-billing.
E-invoicing for your company – with ZUGFeRD in QuoJob!
The e-invoice is transmitted electronically, received automatically and then processed further. This enables end-to-end digital processing from creation to payment of the invoice. At first glance, this appears to be another bureaucratic hurdle, but the opposite is the case: invoicing will be completely digitalized and therefore considerably simplified. The XRechnung file format is XML and the language is UBL, ensuring that all invoice data ends up in the right place.
In QuoJob, we have long had the option of creating ZUGFeRD or XRechnungen. Due to the topicality and the many questions we have received on this topic, our next web session will focus on this topic, including its implementation in QuoJob.
